The chapel program is an integral part of the life of Union University. It is the central and focal event of the university as a whole and serves as a time for the entire Union community to express its common commitment to Jesus Christ through corporate worship. Through the chapel program, Union worships and glorifies God while building community and informing and teaching in the areas of faith and learning. Services emphasize praise and participation in a creative and celebratory atmosphere. Each week students hear from campus leaders as well as other nationally known leaders such as Michael Card, Esther Burroughs, Dr. Robert Sloan, Junior Hill, Tony Campolo, and others. Fridays services are more student-oriented in nature and incorporate contemporary worship styles involving choruses, praise bands, videos, computer graphics, and drama.
