Emeritus Faculty
In order to be granted emeritus faculty status, faculty members must have served at least 15 years at Union and have demonstrated excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service at Union. They must be recommended by their dean, affirmed by the provost and president and approved by the Board of Trustees. This has typically been done upon a faculty member's retirement.
