Fees for Services

We do not bill health insurance for any service provided by the clinic. We can provide you with a receipt of services rendered that you may submit to your insurance company. We recommend that our students have a health insurance policy to cover costs for emergencies and referrals to outside facilities.

Students, faculty and staff are evaluated by the health care provider at no charge. However, there is a minimal charge for medical supplies, lab tests, TB tests, allergy injections, vaccinations and prescription medications dispensed or administered in Health Services.

Crutches and wheelchairs are available at the Health Clinic and are loaned out to patients on a short-term basis free of charge.

Students are financially responsible for any treatment received at off-campus medical facilities. Students who are interested in purchasing health insurance can access information made possible by the Affordable Care Act.

The clinic accepts cash, check, and/or credit cards. Unless you tell us otherwise, we will charge all fees to your Union student account.
